Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

At 45 Parnell Square West

From 2pm to 4pm

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Don’t look back in anger’ sung by Oasis, focussing on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning. You’ll also understand the general sense of the song and discuss it. You can here it here

Valentine’s Day around Dublin

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.


It’s Valentine’s Day and Love is in the air and in the streets of Dublin! So let’s have a walk around and check out the several free events that will take place in the early afternoon. Follow a love trail, write love poems, model with your friends and be the subject of professional photos. All this and much more.

Friday, 16th February

Pub night: Workmans Club

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks.

Location: 10 Wellington Quay, Temple Bar, Dublin 2

Meet there at 9pm or at 8.50pm at the school reception

A fun night awaits you at The Workmans Club this Friday where you can grab a pint, dance and speak English (You will probably find us in the smocking area).

Saturday, 17th February

Au Pair Club: Café

1pm to 3pm – At 45 Parnell Square West

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Coffee, tea, cookies, chats and lots of au pairs just like you… have fun while speaking English!

Sunday, 18th February

Trip to: Connemara

Price: €40

Departure: At 06:30. Meet at 06:20 from Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance so please book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip also includes a visit to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, a visit to Killary Sheep Farm, some time in Galway City and a stop at the Inagh Valley.
