Monday Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Hold on’ sung by Walk off the Earth. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning. Get the general sense of the song and discuss it. Hear it here

Visit to IMMA: Irish Museum of Modern Art

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.


The Irish Museum of Modern Art also known as IMMA, is Ireland’s leading national institution for the collection and presentation of modern and contemporary art with over 3,500 artworks by Irish and International artists.

Friday, 9th February

Pub night: J. W. Sweetmen

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks.

Location: 1-2 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2

Meet there at 9pm or at 8.50pm at the school reception

Before being a pub, J. W. Sweetman is an old brewing factory. Therefore you will find good beer and a warm atmosphere in a nice building facing the Liffey. Wander around the several floors of the pub and find us there on Friday night!

Saturday, 10th February

Au Pair Club: Café

1pm to 3pm – At 45 Parnell Square West

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Coffee, tea, cookies, chats and lots of au pairs just like you…while speaking English!

Sunday, 11th February

Trip to: Cork & Blarney Castle

Price: €45

Departure: At 06:50. Meet at 06:40 from Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip also includes the entrance into the rock of Cashel and also the Blarney stone.
