Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

From 2pm to 4pm

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! Focus on the pronunciation of the words and on their meaning through listening and reading exercises. You’ll also understand the general sense of the song and discuss it. This is free, useful and fun!

Visit to Trinity College Library & the Book of Kells

Meet at 2pm at the NEW school reception 46, Parnell Square West

Price:€11 with student ID

Join us on the visit to the magnificent Old library of Trinity College constructed in the 18th century. Moreover, it will be part of the tour the visit to the “Turning Darkness into Light” exhibition to the discovery of the Book of Kells: a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world.

Cinema Club: Batman Begins

At 2:30pm, at 46, Parnell Square West

Price: FREE

A young Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels to the Far East, where he’s trained in the martial arts… This is the exciting beginning of the story of how Gotham City first met his famous hero, Batman.

Saturday, 24th November

Au Pair Club Café: Board Games

Price: Free

From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West, Dublin 1

Get together with other Au Pairs and play some board games! This is a great way to practise some English and have fun. As usual, cookies, tea and coffee are included.

Sunday, 25th November

Trip to: Cliffs of Moher


Meet at Molly Malone Statue on O’Connell Street, at 6:40am. Bus leaves at 6:50am.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.

This day tour also includes a visit to Doolin, the Burren National Park and some time in Galway City.
