Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! Focus on the pronunciation of the words and on their meaning through listening and reading exercises. You’ll also understand the general sense of the song and discuss it. This is free, useful and fun!

The Irish Museum of Modern Art also known as IMMA, is Ireland’s leading national institution for the collection and presentation of modern and contemporary art. Explore the exhibitions held and the beautiful gardens that surround the museum’s building.

Friday, 12th October

Cinema club: projecting ‘Song of the Sea’

At 2:30pm, at 46, Parnell Square West

Price: FREE

Popcorn, comfortable seats, English subtitles for a complete Cinema experience! This week we will be screening the awards winning Irish animated movie, ‘Song of the Sea’ that will move you with its beautiful plot, style and enchanting soundtrack.

Saturday, 13th October

Au Pair Club – Watercolour Workshop

Price: Free

From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West, Dublin 1

From a blank page, passing through a pencil sketch and finishing with bautiful watercolour. Get in the zone and learn how to make a watercolour sketch. No particular artistic skill needed! Come along, have fun with colours and learn that anyone can sketch and paint.

Please note that this class is free but needs to be booked in advance, as there is a limited number of places available. Book by email or at the reception.

Sunday, 14th October

Trip to: The Giant’s Causeway


Meet at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street at 6:20. Bus leaves at 6:30.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.

This day tour includes a visit to the Antrim Coastal Drive, Carrick A Rede Rope bridge, Dunluce Castle and the dark Hedges.
