Tuesday Workshop Series – Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!
Another workshop on learning English through the lyrics of famous songs! This time you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Do I wanna know?’ by the English Indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Visit to the National Museum of Ireland (archaeology branch)
Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.
Admission ticket: Free
Join us on a tour of the National Museum of Ireland. The museum hosts outstanding examples of Celtic and Medieval art, such as the famous Ardagh Chalice, the Tara Brooch and the Derrynaflan Hoard.
Friday, 18th November
Pub night: Porterhouse Central (near Trinity)
Price: Free in, buy your own drinks
Location: 45 Nassau St, Dublin 2 (Note – this is
not the Porterhouse in Temple Bar – yes, there are two!)
Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.
Porterhouse Central is a lively pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The Pub offers an extensive range of imported bottle beers, along with wines, cocktails and micro self-brewed draught beers. Come along and enjoy with us!

Au Pair Club Café

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!Come to have a good cup of tea or coffee and to sample some cake and biscuits while enjoying the company of other au pairs!

Day Trip: The Cliffs of MoherPrice: €45
Departure: 06:50am. Meet at 06:40 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
This trip includes a tour of the Cliffs of Moher, a visit to Doolin Village, a short trek around the Burren and a photo stop at Dunguaire castle.
