Trip to Howth
Meet at reception at 2pm
Price: Transport: €6.10 for the DART
Howth is a lovely fishing village only half an hour from Dublin city centre. Join us for a walk along the seaside path or towards the harbour and maybe enjoy a very fresh fish and chips, breathe in some healthy sea air or climb the hill to get a good view of the coastline and Ireland’s Eye.
Friday, 4th November
Pub night: The Workman’s Club
Price: Free in, buy your own drinks
Location: 10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2
Meet there at 9pm or at reception at 8:50pm.
This pub, located by the Liffey, extends to two floors: it is usually very busy and has great music! Come along, meet other students and practise your English while enjoying your Friday night at the Workman’s with us! Price: Free in, buy your own drinks.
Saturday 5th October
Au Pair Club: Crochet workshop
1pm to 3pm – At 5, Talbot Street
Price: Free and open to all au pairs!
Come and give the art of Crochet a try! Natalie will teach you how to get started and help you to create original designs.
Sunday 6th October
Day Trip: Celtic Boyne Valley
Departure: 08:00. Meet at 07:50 at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.
Trip includes a visit to the site of sacred passage tombs at Loughcrew, Trim Castle, the Hill Of Tara, some time in the village of Slane, a visit to the religious site at Monasterboice and 2 hours in the historical town of Drogheda.
