Monday Workshop Series: Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!
A new year and a new series of workshops on learning English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Thinking out loud’ sang by Ed Sheeran. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Once a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years, Dublin Castle now functions as a site for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. The Chester Beatty Library is in the grounds of Dublin Castle and is renowned for its outstanding collection of Asian and Middle Eastern art. It currently hosts an exhibition of beautiful oil paintings by Chinese artist Hong Ling.

This Saturday join Pasqualina for a challenging and fun board games session here at the Central School of English. It’s a fun way of practising your English, too!
Sunday, 29th January
Day Trip: The Giant’s Causeway
Departure: 6.30am. Meet at 6.20am at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
This trip includes a stop at the dark hedges, a tour of the Giant’s Causeway, crossing the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, a photostop at Dunluce Castle, and some time in Belfast city.
