English Phonology Workshop

You are all invited to join the first in a series of free workshops. In this workshop, Dario will run a lively and interesting workshop on the phonetic alphabet, pronunication and the differences in pronunciation between British, Irish and other forms of English. This is the first in a series of workshops we’ll be running every Tuesday afternoon. Each one focusing on a particular aspect of English and/or language learning.

Visit to PhotoIreland Festival 2016

This Wednesday we will go together on a tour of the PhotoIreland Festival: The PhotoIreland Festival is looking at photography and image culture. Explore work of well known photographers, as well as that of young and local initiatives in Ireland, presented to you in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Trip to Howth
Meet at the reception at 2pm
Price: (Just for the transport) €6.10 for the DART
Howth is a lovely fishing village only half an hour from Dublin city centre. Join us for a walk along the seaside path or towards the harbour and maybe enjoy a very fresh fish and chips, breathe in some healthy sea air or get up the hill to get a good view of the coast line and Ireland’s Eye.

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.This pub, located by the Liffey, develops on two floors: it is usually very busy and with great music! Come along, meet other students and get to practise your English while enjoying your Friday night at the Workman’s with us!

Au Pair & Summer Social Club: Visit to the Temple Bar Food Market

Day Trip: The Giant’s Causeway
Meet at 06.40 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
This trip includes a stop at the dark hedges, a tour of the Giant’s Causeway, the crossing of the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, a photostop at Dunluce Castle, and some time in Belfast city.
