Visit to The Book of Kells

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.

Come and visit the beautiful historic university that is Trinity College! The architecture and atmosphere alone make a stroll there well worth it.

The cobbled stones will bring you back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed. Inside is housed the Book of Kells – a 9th-century gospel manuscript which is famous throughout the world.

Thursday, 7th July

Exhibition at the National Gallery: ‘Leonardo Da Vinci: Ten Drawings from the Royal Collection’

Meet at the reception at 2pm

Price: FREE

‘Leonardo’s drawings are the richest, most wide-ranging, most technically brilliant, and most endlessly fascinating of any artist.’ (Martin Clayton, Head of Prints and Drawings, Royal Collection Trust).

Join us for a visit to the unique works of art of Leonardo Da Vinci. This not-to-be-missed exhibition will last only until the 17th of July at the National Gallery. This is also an opportunity to visit all the other beautiful works of art on show by Irish and non-Irish artists.

Friday, 8th July

Pub night: O’Reilly’s

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks

Location: Tara Street Station

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.

Meet your fellow students, practise your English and enjoy Dublin’s great nightlife.

O’Reilly’s is a nice Victorian-age style pub, famous for its good music and cheap pints. What’s not to like?

Au Pair & Summer Social Club: Board Games

1pm to 3pm – At 5, Talbot Street

Price: Free and open to all au pairs and students!

This Saturday join Dario for a challenging and fun board games session here at the Central School of English. It’s a fun way of practising your English, too!

Sunday 10th July

Day Trip: Cliffs of Moher

Departure: 06:50.

Meet 06:40 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.

Price: €45

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes visit to This trip includes a tour of the Cliffs of Moher, a visit to Doolin Village, a short trek around the Burren and a photo stop at Dunguaire castle.
