Visit to Jameson Distillery

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.

Price: €13 with Student ID

A guided tour will lead us through a history of the brand and a unique whiskey experience which will include a comparative tasting to get an understanding of the key differences between Scotch, American and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Moreover, the tour offers a refreshing Jameson Ginger and Lime plus a Jameson Whiskey Tasting Certificate.

Thursday, 2nd June

Visit to Botanic Gardens

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.

Price: FREE

Enjoy with us the planted glasshouses, the herbaceous borders, the rose garden, the alpine yard, the pond area, the rock garden and what more you can see at the Botanic Gardens!

Friday, 3rd June

Pub night: The Czech Inn

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks


Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.

Welcome the weekend and enjoy some really good time with fellow students. Have a drink, dance or play fusball or pool if you wish but most of all chat, chat, chat to practise your English! T.G.I.F!

Saturday 4th June

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm – Meet at 5, Talbot street

Price: Free and open to all au pairs working in Ireland, not just our students!

Sit back and relax at the Au Pair Club this Saturday: enjoy your coffee or tea, some delicious sweets, chit chat with other Au Pairs and practice your English!

Sunday 5th June

Day Trip: Enniskerry Village & Powerscourt Gardens

Departure: 10:45 from Upper O’Connell street, bus stop ID 272. Bus 44 to Enniskerry.

Meet at 10:20 outside the school.

Bus tickets: €5.20 return

Powerscourt Gardens admission ticket: €8 – Student with ID

Please note: Let us know if you are joining us by communicating it at the school reception or by sending us an email! There is no need to pay in advance.

We will meet outside the school at 10:20am. For those of you who want to join directly at the bus stop, the stop ID is number 272 on Upper O’Connell street. We will take the bus number 44, direction: Enniskerry. We will get off in Enniskerry village: from there Powerscourt Gardens are about 25-minute walking distance. Wear comfortable shoes! We will spend some time there, explore the gardens and enjoy our lunch and maybe have a coffee there (lunch and coffee are not included in price of the trip)! Once we are happy with our tour at Powerscourt we can head back to Enniskerry village and have a walk around there before catching the bus back to Dublin city centre.
