Monday Workshop Series: Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

At 5, Talbot street

From 2pm to 4pm

FREE and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! But because it’s St Patrick’s week this time we will go through the lyrics of that famous Irish song as ‘Dirty Old Town’ sung by The Pogues. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Wednesday, 15th of March

Visit to ‘Contemporary Editions’ art exhibition at Gormley’s Fine Art Gallery

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.


The exhibition will include important works by Andy Warhol, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Keith Haring, Robert Indiana, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Bambi. This carefully curated exhibition explores a range movements such as Pop Art, Street Art, Neo Pop, Young British Artists and Urban Art from the 1950’s to the present day. Thursday 16th March

‘Festival Céilí’ and ‘Greening the city’

Meet at the school reception at 4pm


Come with us for a fun Irish dance session at the Festival Ceílí. Join host Dearbhla Lennon, Irish-dancing champion, for the best of Céilí music and dance. Expert caller Jerry O’Reilly will lead you through céilí classics. More details here.

After some dancing we’ll stroll around the city and enjoy the City of Dublin dressed in green! The ‘Greening the City’ Festival is starting from 6pm!.. before ending up at the party…

Thursday 16th March

St Patrick’s Party

9pm to midnight

Nealon’s Pub, Capel Street (upstairs)

One of the best school parties of the year. Free finger food and prizes for best costume (- wear something green!). Great music and great friends. Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with your classmates. Free in, buy your own drinks

Friday, 17th March

St Patrick’s Parade!

Meet outside the school at 11:30am.


As every year, the St Patrick’s Parade is an event not to miss! Feel like watching the Parade with other students? No problem! Meet us outside the school (5 Talbot Street) and we’ll go and enjoy the show together! There are details about the parade here.

Note: There will be no Au Pair Club this week becuase the school is closed on Saturday. It will be back next week!
