Tuesday Workshop Series – Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

At 5, Talbot street

From 2pm to 4pm

Price: Free and open to all students!

Another workshop on learning English through the lyrics of famous songs! This time you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Stairways to heaven’ by the rock band Led Zeppelin. Focus on the pronunciation of the words and on their meaning and get the general meaning of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Visit to the Science Gallery

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.

Admission ticket: Free

Design & Violence is the exhibition being held at the Science Gallery as a result of a co-production between the gallery itself and the Museum of Modern Art of New York.

It’ll be also an occasion to wander around and explore Trinity College as the Science Gallery is located within its walls.

Friday, 28th October

Halloween Ball at Jack Nealon’s Pub

Our private room, free finger food and DJ until 12.30pm

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks

Location: 165 Capel St, Dublin 1 (very close to the river)

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm

Good music, finger food, prizes for the three best costumes and a lot of fun is what awaits you at the scariest (and best) Halloween Party of all!

Saturday 29th October

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm – At 5, Talbot Street

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Come to have a good cup of tea or coffee and to sample some sweets while enjoying the company of other au pairs, just like you!

Sunday 30th October

Day Trip: Kilkenny, Wicklow mountains & Glendalough

Price: €28

Departure: 08:10am. Meet at 08:00 at Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes visit to the Wicklow mountains, a tour of the site of Glendalough and some time in Kilkenny.
