Wednesday, 24th February

Visit to Trinity College Library and the Book of Kells

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.

Admission ticket: €8 if our group is formed by at least 10 people – otherwise €9 for ordinary student admission fee.

Join us on the visit to the magnificent Old library of Trinity College constructed in the 18th century. Moreover, it will be part of the tour the visit to the “Turning Darkness into Light” exhibition to the discovery of the Book of Kells: a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world. And a look around Trinity Coolege (pictured above).

Cinema Club: Shutter Island

Sweeney’s is a lively pub developed on three floors. It usually hosts very good bands or DJs on the weekends. It’s the perfect place where to enjoy a Friday night in Dublin!

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm at 45 Parnell Square West (Room #2)

Price: Free and open to all au pairs working in Ireland, not just our students!

The Au Pair club this week turns into a Café where to have a nice and relaxed chat, exchange experiences and to meet other Au Pairs while sampling sweets and drinking tea or coffee.

Departure: 06:50am at Suffolk Street near the Old Stone Church/Molly Malone Statue (arrive 10 minutes earlier)

NB: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes exploring of Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, a visit to Killary Sheep Farm and some time in Galway City.
