Visit to Dublin Castle & Chester Beatty Library

Once a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years, Dublin Castle now functions as a site for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. The Chester Beatty Library is on the ground of Dublin Castle and is renowned for its outstanding collection of Asian and Middle Eastern art.

Epic Ireland

Tour starts at 3pm

Epic Ireland is not an ordinary museum: it will tell you the history of Irish immigration through touch screens, animations, videos, interactive games, stunning use of lights and much more. This is a unique experience that will leave you entertained and much more aware of the impact of Irish culture all around the world. Great to learn more about Ireland and practise some more English, too!

Central School of English students can avail of a very convenient price. Don’t miss out!

Saturday, 3rd November

Au Pair Club: Sketching Workshop

Price: Free

From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West, Dublin 1

Meet up with other au pairs, get treated with coffee, tea, cookies and practice some sketching from life with Marina. Learn a few tips on how to get started with a sketch: copy from life and discover how much fun and relaxing it can be!

Sunday, 4th November

Trip to: Celtic Boyne Valley

Price:€40

Meet at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street at 7:50am. Bus leaves at 8:00am.
