“Life at the Edges” is the name of the exhibition held at the Science Gallery in Trinity college. How do things survive in space, the bottom of the ocean or inside volcanoes? Let’s find out together!

Wednesday, 8th August

Dublin Castle & the Chester Beatty library

Meet at 2pm at the school reception (5 Talbot Street)

Price: €6 Castle Admission Ticket

Once a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years, Dublin Castle now functions as a site for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. The Chester Beatty Library is on the grounds of Dublin Castle and is renowned for its outstanding collection of Asian and Middle Eastern art.

Friday, 10th August

The Long Stone

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks

From 9pm there (or meet us at 5 Talbot Street at 8.45pm)

This Friday we’re checking out a Viking themed pub established in 1754, right in the city centre. Good craic and the best company for another Friday night together!

Saturday, 11th August

Au Pair Club Café

Price: Free

From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West

Practise your English, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, get treated with delicious cookies and meet a lot of other Au Pairs.

Sunday, 12th August

Trip to: Wicklow Mountains, Kilkenny & Glendalough

Bus tickets: €30

Meet at Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street @08:00. Bus leaves @08:10.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.

This day tour includes a walking tour of Kilkenny, Glendalough and its monastic site, the county of Carlow and the Wicklow Mountains
