Monday Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs
At 45 Parnell Square West
From 2pm to 4pm
Price: Free and open to all students!
Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Change’ sung by Tracy Chapman. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning. Get the general sense of the song and discuss it. Hear it here

The National Gallery of Ireland
Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.
The National Gallery of Ireland is located in the heart of Dublin and holds the national collection of European and Irish fine art. The gallery has very recently inaugurated the renovated old wings and is currently hosting the exhibitions “For the Love of Art”, “Good Morning Mister Turner” and the “Portrait Hennessy Prize 2018”.
Friday, 19th January
Pub night: Sin é
Price: Free in, buy your own drinks.
Location: 15 Ormond Quay Upper, North City, Dublin
Meet there at 9pm or at 8.50pm at the school reception
Sin é is a small but cozy pub and music venue. The nice atmosphere and the good company will make our night: so come along and practise your English on a Jolly Friday night!
Saturday, 20th January
Au Pair Club: Café
1pm to 3pm – At 45 Parnell Square West
Price: Free and open to all au pairs!
Nice pastries, tea and coffee plus lots of chat make the Au Pair Club the perfect place to meet other au pairs and practise your English.
Sunday, 21st January
Trip to: Celtic Boyne Valley
Departure: At 08:00. Meet at 07:50 from Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
Trip includes a visit to Loughcrew Passage Tomb, Trim Castle, Hill of Tara, Monasterboice and some time in Drogheda
