Wednesday, 20th June

Visit to: Trinity College and the Book of Kells

Meet at 2pm at the school reception (5 Talbot Street)

Price: €11 with student ID

Join us on a tour of Trinity College and its Old library, which was built in the 18th century. See the beautiful grounds of the university, visit the Harry Potter-like library and discover the exhibition “Turning Darkness into Light” with the Book of Kells: a magnificent 9th-century illuminated gospel manuscript.

Thursday, 21st June

Central Cinema Club

Price: Free

At 2:30pm at 5 Talbot street, ROOM#1

Central Cinema Club is back: Practise your English watching a film on the big screen. English subtitles and popcorn provided for your enjoyment! This week’s screening: Brooklyn – Eilis Lacey is a young woman working in a grocery shop in Ireland. She has greater ambitions and moves to Brooklyn, New York, leaving her mother and sister behind. She is terribly homesick at first and eventually settles down. However, things are about to get complicated…

School Pub Night at the Porter House Temple Bar

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks

From 9pm there (or meet us at 5 Talbot Street at 8.45pm)

Come and enjoy an Irish craft beer while chatting in English with other students. Traditional Music and great atmosphere.

Saturday, 23rd June

Au Pair Club Café

Price: Free

From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West

Practise your English, meet other Au Pairs and enjoy a cup of tea and coffee and bikkies. The perfect mix for a delightful Saturday afternoon.

Sunday, 24th June

Trip to: Cork & Blarney Castle

Bus tickets: €45

Meet at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk Street @06:40. Bus leaves @06:50.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Travel through beautiful countryside and visit magical castles on this great day-tour. This trip includes entrance to the rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle and also the Blarney Stone.
