Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!
Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week, you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Gravity’ by Leo Stannard, focusing on the pronunciation of the words and on their meaning through listening and reading exercises. You’ll also understand the general sense of the song and discuss it. You can hear it here.

The National Gallery of Ireland is located in the heart of Dublin and holds the national collection of European and Irish fine art. The gallery has very recently inaugurated the renovated old wings, which are definitely worth a visit.
Thursday, 19th April
Central Cinema Club
At 2:30pm at 5 Talbot street, ROOM#1
Central Cinema Club is back: Practise your English watching a movie on the big screen. English subtitles and popcorn provided for your enjoyment! This week’s screening: Kill Bill
Saturday, 21st April
Au Pair Club Café
From 1pm to 3pm at 45, Parnell Square West
Meet other Au Pairs, get special sweet treats and enjoy the company while practising your English.
Sunday, 22nd April
Trip to: Celtic Boyne Valley
Meet at 7:50am at Molly Malone on Suffolk Street. Bus leaves at 8am
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at reception before Thursday lunchtime.
Trip includes a visit to Loughcrew Passage Tomb, Trim Castle, Hill of Tara, Monasterboice and Drogheda.
