Monday Workshop Series – Learn English through the lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!
Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Rise and Fall’ sung by Craig David & Sting. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning. Get the general sense of the song and discuss it. Hear it here

Meet at 2pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street.
Enjoy with us the planted glasshouses, the herbaceous borders, the rose garden, the alpine yard, the pond area, the rock garden and what more you can see at the Botanic Gardens!
Friday, 6th October
Pub night: O’Reilly’s
Price: Free in, buy your own drinks.
Location: Tara Street Station
Meet there at 9pm or at 8.50pm at the school reception
This lively Victoria-era pub has a very good buzz and what’s more drinks are among the cheapest in Dublin! Cheap beer, good music and cool people… what more can you ask? Come along and enjoy your Friday night with us!

Day Trip: The Giant’s Causeway
Departure: 06:30am. Meet at 06:20 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
This trip includes a stop at the dark hedges, a tour of the Giant’s Causeway, crossing of the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, a photostop at Dunluce Castle, and some time in Belfast city.
