Monday Workshop Series – Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Getting Jiggy with it?’ sung by Will Smith. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Trip to Killiney

Meet at the reception at 2pm

Price: Transport price: €6.15 for the DART

Killiney Hill is a popular destination for walkers and hikers taking advantage of the spectacular views, over the surrounding areas: Dublin to the northwest, the Irish Sea and the mountains of Wales (on a clear day) to the east and southeast, and Bray Head and the Wicklow Mountains to the south.

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm – At 45, Parnell Square West

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Come and have a cup of tea or coffee and some cake, cookies or fruit while enjoying the company of other au pairs.

Sunday, 30th July

Day Trip: Connemara

Price: €45

Departure: 06:30am. Meet at 06:20 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes exploring Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, a visit to Killary Sheep Farm and some time in Galway City.
