Once a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years, Dublin Castle now functions as a site for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. The Chester Beatty Library is in the grounds of Dublin Castle and is renowned for its outstanding collection of Asian and Middle Eastern art. It currently hosts the exhibition ‘The Art of Friendship’, a visually sumptuous exhibition of surimono (Japanese woodblock prints), drawn from the Library’s outstanding collection.

Come and have a nice cup of tea or coffee and some cake, cookies or fruit while enjoying the company of other au pairs.
Sunday, 25th June
Day Trip: The Cliffs of Moher
Departure: 06:50. Meet at 06:40 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
This trip includes a tour of the Cliffs of Moher, a visit to Doolin Village, a short trek around the Burren and a photo stop at Dunguaire castle.
