Monday Workshop Series: Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘Say you won’t let go’ by James Arthur. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it!

The National Museum of Ireland: Decorative Arts and History

Meet at 2:00pm at the reception at 5 Talbot Street

Price: FREE

Pay a visit with us to the Decorative Arts and History museum where, along with the beautiful architecture of the building and the nice gardens surrounding it, you will discover weaponry, furniture, silver, ceramics, glassware, Asian art and the Asgard, as well as folk life and costume artefacts. The Museum is now hosting a very interesting photographic exhibition.

Friday, 26th May

Pub Night: The Workman’s Club

Price: Free in, buy your own drinks

Location: 10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.

This pub, located by the Liffey is on two floors. It is usually very busy and has great music! Come along, meet other students and practise your English while enjoying your Friday night at the Workman’s with us!

Saturday, 27th May

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm – At 5, Talbot Street

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Come and have a nice cup of tea or coffee and sample some cake while enjoying the company of other au pairs.

Sunday, 28th May

Day Trip: Connemara

Price: €45

Departure: 06:30am. Meet at 06:20 at the Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes exploring Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, a visit to Killary Sheep Farm and some time in Galway City.
