Monday Workshop Series: Learn English through lyrics of popular songs

Price: Free and open to all students!

Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘’Send my love” sang by Adele. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

Trip to Howth

Meet at the reception at 2pm

Price: Transport price: €6.10 for the DART

Howth is a lovely fishing village only half an hour from Dublin city centre. Join us for a walk along the seaside path or towards the harbour and maybe enjoy a very fresh fish and chips, breathe in some healthy sea air or climb the hill to get a good view of the coast line and Ireland’s Eye.

Friday, 12th May

Pub Night: The Celt

Price: Free in buy your own drinks

Location: Talbot street

Meet there at 9pm or at the school reception at 8:50pm.

Feeling like listening to some good traditional Irish music, in a lively atmosphere and surrounded by cheerful people? Then, you should join us at the Celt this coming Friday! Meet other students and keep practising your English while holding a good pint!

Saturday, 13th May

Au Pair Club Café

1pm to 3pm – At 5, Talbot Street

Price: Free and open to all au pairs!

Come to have a good cup of tea or coffee and to sample some cakes while enjoying the company of other au pairs.

Sunday, 14th May

Day Trip: Celtic Boyne Valley

Price: €35

Departure: 8am. Meet at 07:50 at Molly Malone Statue on Suffolk street.

Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.

Trip includes a visit to the sacred site of Loughcrew Trim Castle, Hill Of Tara, some time in the village of Slane, a visit to the religious site at Monasterboice and 2 hours in the historical town of Drogheda.
