Once a military fortress, a prison, treasury, courts of law and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years, Dublin Castle now functions as a site for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. The Chester Beatty Library is in the grounds of Dublin Castle and is renowned for its outstanding collection of Asian and Middle Eastern art. It currently hosts an exhibition of the beautiful oil paintings of the Chinese artist Hong Ling.

Price: Free and open to all students!
Learn English through the lyrics of famous songs! This week you will go through the lyrics of the song ‘’Can’t sleep love” sang by Pentatonix. Focus on the pronunciation of the words, through listening and reading exercises, and on their meaning! Get the general sense of the song and discuss it! Hear it here.

This pub, located by the Liffey, is developed over two floors: it is usually very busy and has great music! Come along, meet other students and practise your English while enjoying your Friday night at the Workman’s with us!

Come and enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee and try some cakes while enjoying the company of other au pairs.
Sunday, 23rd April
Day Trip: Kilkenny, Wicklow mountains & Glendalough
Departure: 08:10am. Meet at 08:00 at Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street.
Please note: This trip must be booked in advance. Book at the reception before Thursday lunchtime.
Trip includes visit to the Wicklow mountains, a tour of the site of Glendalough and some time in Kilkenny.
