English Classes in Dublin City Centre
The Central School of English is in the very heart of Dublin City Centre, just 50 metres from the city’s famous Spire and it’s main street, O’Connell Street.
One building – at 5 Talbot Street – is on the street that leads east from Dublin’s famous Spire monument on O’Connell Street to the main railway station.
The main reception is here and it is open from 9am to 9 pm from Monday to Friday.
The other building is five minutes’ walk away at the northern end of O’Connell Street. Our school is opposite the main entrance to the Rotunda Hospital. The address is 45 Parnell Square West. There is a reception here from 11am to 5pm on Saturday.
Students can study at either or both buildings and make use of all the facilities the two schools have to offer.
Both buildings have a full kitchen for students’ use, a lounge and free Wi-Fi.
At 45 Parnell Square West, there is a beautiful rear patio, where students can enjoy a coffee and where we have barbecues in the summer.
Both schools stay open all year round except for a few days at Christmas, Easter and on some bank holidays.
Our classrooms are bright and airy, have wooden floors and comfortable seating. There are many inexpensive cafes and restaurants nearby and bargains to be had from the neighbouring shops.
You are welcome to call into the school during our opening hours to take a look around, to meet our teachers and to find out about the English courses we offer.
Visiting us on a Saturday? Our main office is closed on Saturdays but you can get information at 45 Parnell Square West. We look forward to meeting you!
