English for nurses, doctors and other health professionals.
Our Medical English classes are held on Saturday afternoons from 1pm-3pm.
The classes are aimed at people who are working or intend to work in the health professions, such as nurses and doctors.
While focusing on speaking and listening, the course covers essential medical vocabulary needed to improve the communication skills and specialist English language knowledge of healthcare professionals.
Exercises will be based on authentic tasks and activities that occur in a hospital or other healthcare facilities – from dealing with patients in pain to discussing lifestyle changes.
The class will also prepare students to pass the OET Exam. (Occupational English Test)
